Vitamin D is made in our bodies when the sun shines on our skin. It helps to regulate how much calcium and phosphate we have, which are important nutrients that we need to keep our bones, teeth and muscles healthy.
Men's Health Week runs from 10-16 June and is a week to highlight and promote the importance of men’s heath in New Zealand. The aim of the week is to get men more aware of their own health and to begin taking small steps to improve their wellbeing.
