Cervical screening

Cervical screening is a routine test that checks for early signs of changes in the cervix. It helps detect these changes early, when they can be easily treated, and is recommended every 3–5 years for people aged 25 and over.

All women who have ever been sexually active should have regular cervical smear tests every three years between the ages of 25 and 69.
