March Health & Wellbeing Update

Welcome our new GP, Dr. Roimata Herman! Find out about the clinics we are running this March, and the free health support we are currently offering.

Introducing Dr. Roimata Herman

Kia Orana,

My name is Roimata, and I have recently joined OneCare Health as a GP.

I was born and raised in Rarotonga, Cook Islands and moved to New Zealand in 2006 to undertake tertiary education. Once I completed my medical degree at the University of Auckland, I spent my junior doctor years in the Waikato before pursuing a career in General Practice. I have a special interest in women's health, long-term conditions such as heart disease, gout and diabetes, and youth health. Beyond medicine, I am a wife and mother to a soon to be 5 year old. I enjoy road trips, watching sports, and spending time with family and friends.

Dr Roimata is at the Papatoetoe clinic Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Ōtāhuhu Wednesday.

New payment policy

Firstly, we wish to thank those of you who have paid at the time of your appointment with us. We have appreciated that immensely. We understand that there are a number of reasons you may be unable to pay at the time, but intend to pay the next day, however remembering, or other issues, means it can be forgotten or missed.

Unfortunately, following up on late payments takes a significant amount of time and resources.

We have now implemented our Patient fees and outstanding debt policy and our Did Not Attend (DNA) / Late Arrival / Late Cancellation Policy. Please be sure to check these out on our website to understand what this means for you.

Thank you for supporting us, and please remember, if finance is an issue, please have a quiet word with our Senior Receptionist Harpreet.
